How do I know if I need a repeater kit?

Chamberlain and Raynor units with My Q or Security Plus 2.0 technology and Craftsman Assurelink units will need a repeater kit. To confirm that you need a repeater kit to make your Car2U transmitter compatible, check for a yellow learn button and yellow antenna on the garage door opener motor head. This will confirm that you need a repeater kit.
How does the conversion module work?

The Conversion Module is installed inside your garage and is connected with wire to the back of the garage door opener motor head.
Will the conversion module effect other transmitters/ vehicles programmed to the unit?
The conversion module will not effect any other transmitters that you currently use to operate your garage door opener.
